The Lord God gives us much information through the Holy Bible, regarding creation science and the history of man and the earth, as it relates to our fall into sin and our Salvation through His son, Jesus Christ.  Here are some of the many passages found in His Holy Word that God felt were important in our understanding of who He is and what He has done for us.

Genesis 2: 15-17 - The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it an take care of it.  And the Lord God commanded the man, "You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die."

Genesis 3 - (The story of the fall of man, the consequences of their sin and their banishment from the Garden of Eden)

Job 38:1 - 40:2 - (The Lord speaks to Job concerning Job's questioning of the ways of God) - "Where were you when I laid the earth's foundation..."

Psalm 51:2-5 - Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me. Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight, so that you are proved right when you speak and justified when you judge.  Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.

Psalm 53:1-4 - The fool says in his heart, "There is no God."  They are corrupt, and their ways are vile, there is no one who does good.  God looks down from heaven on the sons of men to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God.  Everyone has turned away, they have together become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one.

John1:1-14 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  He was with God in the beginning.  Through him al things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it...The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who is at the Father's side, has made him known.

2 Corinthians 5:14-21 - For Christ's love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view.  Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer.  Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ ... God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
