Post Flood...

After the flood, the Lord changed the conditions of the earth and life on earth.  Man and animal were allowed to eat meat to supplement their diet.  Due to additional sinful actions at the city of Babel, man was scattered all over the earth and given a variety of languages so they would realize, once again, their need to rely on God instead of the works of their own hands.

Then the Lord continued to reminded his people of his promise to send a Savior.  He fulfilled that promise when he sent Jesus Christ, who was born of a virgin, suffered and died for us, rose from the dead and ascended to heaven to prepare a place for us until he returns for us on the day of judgment. We currently live in those last days, waiting for the day he will make the make the new earth a perfect place for us to live once again.

2 Corinthians 5:14-21 - For Christ's love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view.  Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer.  Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ ... God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
